As a Tanzania Travel Planner, you are the first point of contact for our travelers and the face of Arusha Trips. Every day you have genuine, personal conversations with travelers who share your passion for travel, helping them turn a dream trip into reality. You listen carefully to each traveler’s wishes, share your knowledge and love for Tanzania, and translate this into expert advice and a tailor-made proposal.
You are responsible for preparing, calculating, developing and selling tailor-made adventure trips to one of the world’s most beautiful safari countries, creating a detailed travel proposal for every traveler. You guide travelers from A to Z through the planning process, answering questions and scheduling follow-up conversations to go through the itinerary and any adjustments, until they are completely satisfied and ready to book.
Beyond individual bookings, you will also think along with the growth of the organization, contribute to the development of new itineraries, and help create content for the website.
This role calls for a thorough knowledge of Tanzania’s safari parks, geography and wildlife, the various Kilimanjaro climbing routes, local activities and the islands of Zanzibar. You are able to speak knowledgeably about nature, culture and seasons, and to advise on key natural events such as the Great Migration. You do not need to know everything from day one, there is room to learn on the job.
