In short

Baby safari, a safari for first timers. To see if Safari can be your next big hobby. Of course also great if you have a limited amount of time or a smaller budget, but still want to experience some of Tanzania’s most amazing highlights.

After our night in Arusha, we’ll take a trip to Lake Manyara National Park, with its many different habitats. Famous for its rich forests and of course Lake Manyara. At the right time of year we can view thousands of flamingos here.

Trip itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival Tanzania

Karibu Tanzania

Upon walking out of Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll be embraced by the friendly, ‘hakuna matata’ vibes of Tanzania.

Just outside, your personal driver will be waiting for you. He will drive you to your lodge.

On the way, you will catch the first glimpse of the Tanzanian landscapes and maybe even Mt. Kilimanjaro. Once arrived, we’ll give you a short briefing about the program of tomorrow, while enjoying a local drink. Karibu Sana! (You’re most welcome)

DAY 2: Lake Manyara National Park

A Dive in the Hippo Pool

This day we will visit Lake Manyara national park, one of the smaller national parks of Tanzania. It’s named after its huge lake take covers most of the area. Nonetheless, Lake Manyara is one of the parks with the biggest variety of landscapes.

You can find yourself in thick woodlands where elephants feast and hunters are hidden, muddy pools filled with hippo’s, mysterious jungle area’s where monkeys rule, desert-like areas where giraffes pass through and the edge of the lake, where thousands of flamingo’s have their summer homes.

Of course not to forget about the impressive 400 meters deep Rift Valley Escapment. A tear in the earth that stretches out for thousands of Kilometers across East-Africa.

Optional Activities
