🛡️ GGTO Guarantee Fund

Arusha Trips is a member of the GGTO Guarantee Fund for Specialized Tour Operators (member no. 1756).. The GGTO Guarantee Fund ensures our travelers that they will get their paid travel sum reimbursed, and possibly their return trip refunded, should we as a tour operator become financially insolvent and therefore unable to execute your booked package holiday.

This means your travel money is always in safe hands, giving you complete confidence when booking with us.

By booking a package holiday with us, an amount of €9,- per person is automatically deposited to insure your travel money. These costs are automatically included in the total travel sum. Check the GGTO website for all terms & conditions. 

The acronym GGTO stands for Garantiefonds voor Gespecialiseerde Touroperators (Guarantee Fund for Specialist Tour Operators). The affiliated tour operators work independently and are specialist direct sellers. They sell their trips directly to their clients without intermediaries. Furthermore, they are officially registered in the Netherlands.

Arusha Trips is also a member of the Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO).

TATO is the official trade body representing licensed tour operators in Tanzania. Membership means Arusha Trips:

  • Meets all legal and professional requirements for operating safaris and climbs.
  • Is committed to high-quality service, fair business practices, and responsible tourism.
  • Actively contributes to the sustainable growth and protection of Tanzania’s tourism industry.

For you, this is an additional reassurance that you’re traveling with a registered and trusted local operator.
