Tanzania’s historic Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the eighth wonder of the world, has been gaping skywards for thousands of years. Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is set high above the plain in the erratic rim of the crater, wrapped in river stone and native vines, and barely visible to the naked eye.
